Obituary
Jane M. Schultz, 76, of Britt, Iowa, passed Sunday, September 22, 2002, at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, in Mason City, Iowa.
Jane, the daughter of Joseph and Ella (Kalis) Nowak, was born September 25, 1925, in Wells, Minnesota. She attended Wells area schools.
On February 6, 1947, Jane was united in marriage with Felix Schultz in Wells, Minnesota. The couple farmed in the Wells area until 1967 when they moved to the Britt area where they continue to live. Jane was employed in the hot lunch program at Britt Community School for 21 years, retiring in 1988.
Jane was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Duncan and the Rosary Society. She enjoyed crafts, her flower garden and loved to bake.
Survivors include her husband Felix; daughter Judy Deetz and her husband, Steve of Charles City, and their children Rachel and Scott; son William of Britt; two sisters Elaine Buzicky and her husband, John of Britt and Alvera Formanek and her husband, Bob of Britt; two brothers Raymond Nowak and his wife, Mercedes of Wells, Minnesota and Jacob Nowak of Wells, Minnestoa.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ambrose.
