Tillie Jeanette (Olson) Klooster was born on August 15, 1920 on the family farm northwest of Clarion, to Ole and Anna (Thompson) Olson.  She was the second of fourteen children, and helped raise her younger siblings. Jeanette attended country school in the rural Clarion area.

At age 17, Jeanette developed M.S., and despite struggling with this condition throughout her life, her strong Christian faith gave her the strength to maintain a positive outlook, raise her family, and help others in any way she could.

Jeanette was united in marriage to Christian Olson on December 31, 1947, and the couple moved to the Minneapolis area, where Jeanette worked as a Certified Nurses Aid.  The couple later moved to a farm south of Galt, and raised their three children.

In 1966, Christian passed away, and Jeanette remained on the farm for two years before moving to Clarion.  On May 8, 1970, Jeanette was united in marriage to John Klooster.  The couple made their home in Clarion, and John passed away in March of 1976.

Jeanette enjoyed knitting, and knitted blankets for many of her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends, painting pottery, and singing.

Jeanette was a member of the Navy Mothers, and was a founding member of the Missionary Alliance Church in Blairsburg.

Jeanette is survived by her children, Judith Olson of Ankeny, Carroll Olson and Marilyn Point of Dows, Joel and Elizabeth Olson of Tavares, Florida, and DiAnn (Klooster) and Morris Peterson of Clarion; grandchildren, Rebekah Olson, Rachel and Ryan Wiezorek, Chelsea (Olson) and Matt Wyatt, Joshua and Amber Olson, Heather Olson, Jerry and Cindy Peterson, Terry Peterson and Jeanine Gangestad, Sherry Peterson; great-grandchildren MaKayla, Maci, Chance and Maddox Knopasek, Aiden, Cail, and Ava Wyatt, and Hailey Hudon and Jeffery and Vance Peterson, Ted and Kendra Peterson, Jacob Peterson, Cheyenne Peterson; sisters:  Signora (Olson) and Kenneth Stolehammer and Selma (Olson) Lee; brothers:  Orville Olson, Stanley Olson, Arnold Olson, Luther and Beverly Olson, Donald Olson and Philip and Connie Olson; along with numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
