Jeffrey James Judson, the son of James, Jr. and Bonnie (Larsson) Judson, was born on June 17, 1950 in Belmond.  He was raised in the state of Iowa, mostly in the Clarion area.  Jeff graduated from Clarion High School in 1968.

Jeff joined the Army after high school and served in Vietnam and overseas.  He was discharged in 1971 and returned to Iowa to manage a flower shop and greenhouse in Dows for his parents.

In 1975 Jeff was united in marriage to Denice Gardner.  This union was blessed with two children Brandi and Jarret.  The couple later divorced.

Jeff later moved to Tomah, Wisconsin where he worked for the Veterans Administration.  In 1996 he moved back to Clarion, again helping his parents at the flower shop and greenhouse.

Jeff was a member at Holmes Baptist Church.  He was very proud of his baptism in Squaw Lake, Wisconsin on July 15, 1990.

Jeff was an avid coin collector, great at gardening and loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters.  He was president of the Clarion Coin Club.

Jeff is survived by his children:  Brandi (Quinton) Winters of Goldfield and Jarret (girlfriend Nina Zabalza) Judson of Tempe, Arizona; mother Bonnie Judson of Clarion; granddaughters:  Mercedes and Elizabeth Bell; sisters:  Jennifer (Ted) Judson-Harms of New Hampton and Janelle (Tom) Rohrer of Burnsville, Minnesota; brothers:  James III (Laura) Judson of Thomson, Illinois and Jon (Kay) Judson of Dedham; along with numerous other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father James Judson, Jr. in 2005.
