Obituary
Jennie Veldhouse, 83, passed away Sunday, June 28, 1992 at her daughters home in Moravia, Iowa.
Jennie, the daughter of Chris and Sena (Sankey) Pogge, was born October 21, 1908 at Renwick. She received her education in the country schools.
On March 5, 1932, she was united in marriage with Dale Veldhouse at her parents home near Renwick. The couple farmed in the Kanawha area. They retired in 1967 and moved into Kanawha.
She was a member of the Christian Reformed Church in Kanawha and the Ladies Aide. She enjoyed cooking, baking and crocheting.
Jennie was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Carol Ellen; a sister, Dora Bunk and three brothers: William, Fred and John.
Survivors include her husband, Dale Veldhouse of Kanawha, Iowa; three daughters: Joann Perlongo and her husband, Jerry of Los Angeles, California; Roberta Eekhoff and her husband, Albert of Nevada, Iowa; Lavonne Helmick and her husband, Keith of Moravia, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Louise Ganzeveld of Eagle Grove, Iowa.
