Jocelyn "Joice" Everett, 18, of Britt passed away Monday, July 11, 2005, at Hancock County Memorial Hospital in Britt.
Jocelyn Paige Everett, the daughter of Jeff and Julie (Smith) Everett, was born May 21, 1987, in Britt, Iowa. Jocie grew up in Britt and attended school in the West Hancock Schools, graduating in 2005. As a student Joice was active in band and was a cheerleader for wrestling.
Jocie enjoyed horseback riding with friends, making hemp bracelets and necklaces, and listening to music.
Jocie is survived by her parents, Jeff and Julie (Smith) Everett; one sister, Sarah; grandparents: Glenn and Beverly Smith of Algona and Beverly Everett and special friend Rich Gardner of Wesley; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and the family dogs: Tala and Roy.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Tom Everett.
