Obituary
John H. Nieman, 91, passed away Saturday, December 23, 1995 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Clarion, Iowa.
John, the son of Albert and Eva (Borchers) Nieman, was born on May 27, 1904 on the home place near Kanawha, Iowa. He attended the Amsterdam Township County Schools. In 1940 he was united in marriage with June Blank at the Kanawha Christian Reformed Church parsonage. They farmed in the Kanawha area until he retired in 1980. They then moved into Kanawha in 1987. John was a member of the Kanawha Christian Reformed Church.
John is survived by his wife, June; a sister, Jennie Eekhoff; a brother, Martin and his wife, Joyce of Britt; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Grace (Mrs. Ben) Blank and Tena (Mrs. Edd) Luppen; two brothers: Casper and Edwin.
