John Reyna, 91, of Clarion, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at the Iowa Specialty Hospital in Clarion. Private family services will be held. John Peter Reyna, the son of Marcelino and Aurelia (Castro) Reyna, was born September 5, 1931 in Clarion, Iowa.  He grew up in Clarion and graduated from the Clarion High School with the class of 1949. After high school, John enlisted in the United States Navy.  He served overseas during the Korean War and was honorably discharged after eight years of service. Once John was back home, he farmed before starting his career as a boilermaker. He was united in marriage with Karen Sorenson.  To this union, three children were born.  Later the couple divorced. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to horse sales. He also loved riding his horse Pete and hanging with his old dog Holly. He will be loved always and missed forever.
