Obituary
Josephine E. King, 87, of Stockton, California, formerly of Britt, passed away Sunday, April 2, 200 at Valley Gardens in Stockton, California.
Josephine the daughter of Harry and Bertha (Hewitt) Booth was born February 3, 1913 in Mapleton, Iowa. At an early age she moved with her parents to Britt. She graduated from Britt High School in 1933.
Josephine was united in marriage with Bill Titus in 1956. The couple moved to California. In 1964 they moved to southern Missouri and purchased a farm. In 1975, she moved to Stockton, California, where she has since resided. Everywhere Josephine lived she planted a tree, and she enjoyed gardening.
Josephine is survived by one son, Paul Rapp, of Richmond, Missouri; one daughter, Janine Bedweel, of North Hollywood, California, and one brother, Philip Booth of Madera, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, William Titus and Alonzo King, two brothers and two sisters.
