Julia V. (Braam) Gremmer

Julia V. Gremmer, 97, of Britt, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Westview Care Center in Britt.

Funeral services for Julia Gremmer will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at First Lutheran Church, 70 5th Ave NW, in Britt with Pastor Norm Bauer officiating.  Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Britt.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.

Julia Veronica (Braam) Gremmer was born on July 2, 1916 in Mankato, Minnesota.  She grew up in Mankato.  On September 4, 1949 she was united in marriage with Jerry Gremmer at Spencer, Iowa.  The couple made their home in Britt.  Jerry passed away on January 24, 1991.

Julia was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Britt.

Julia is survived by sisters-in-law Lori Braam, Alice Braam, Vida Braam, Brenda Braam, Nancy Braam, brothers-in-law Henry Gremmer and his wife, Helen of Britt, Eppo Gremmer and his wife Hyla of Britt, sisters-in-law Gazena Dolphin of Paso Robles, California and Anne Grace Dolphin of Olathe, Kansas.

Julia was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, Gerhard and Anna Braam; eight brothers: John, Leo, Herman, Francis, Peter, Edward, Eugene and Gerald; three sisters: Mary, Clara and Jane.
