June Bell Allen, 96, of Cooper City, Florida, passed away on Jan 16, 2011. A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011, at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion with Pastor Bill Kem officiating. June was a wife to Harold (Skip), mother to Sally, Susan, Kathy, grandmother to Elizabeth and Ned, and great-grandmother to Tara and Amber.  Her twin sister, Jean Gardner, continues to live in the same town they were born in Clarion, Iowa. June started her working life at the telephone company. At the beginning of WW II, Skip was sent to Europe and she ran the photographic studio. Her next adventure was the military as a wife and mother. As a young mother with daughter, Sally, she crossed the Atlantic on the Queen Elizabeth to join Skip in Europe. At the end of the war they settled in Falls Church, Virginia and had two more girls Susan and Kathy. June and Skip lived their lives together enjoying bridge, friends, family and life. Upon Skip's passing, June moved to Florida. There she loved walking, playing bridge, para-sailing (at 90) and motorcycle rides after Church. June's final days were spent with family.  Thank you Lord for her presence in our lives.
