Justin James “Bud” Weiss was born September 5, 1987, the youngest of three children, to Jim & Pam Weiss of Kanawha. He attended Kanawha Elementary, Kanawha Christian School and West Hancock High School, graduating with the class of 2006.

Bud previously worked at Primera Foods in Britt. He was currently employed at Capco in Forest City, working as a tail stretcher.

Bud was very soft-hearted and had many best friends. He saw the good in everyone and never turned away someone in need.

His favorite past-times included dirt-biking, making music, snowmobiling and paintballing. He also loved bonfires with his friends and camping in Decorah. His favorite times were spent hanging out with Dad in the garage and being a mama’s boy.

Bud was truly a kid at heart, and was never able to give up his pepperoni pizza, Lego’s or all time favorite Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

In the past, Bud enjoyed attending the Annual Gathering of the Juggalos with his girlfriend Theresa, and went to his very first Sturgis Motorcycle Rally this past August.

Bud was an amazing uncle and loved dearly by his nieces and nephew. He always made sure to go out of his way to annoy his older sisters Jen and Jessi. (We love and miss you little Buddy!)

Left to cherish his memory are his parents Jim and Pam Weiss of Kanawha; sister Jen Weiss and daughters Jacey, Jayde, Harley, Halle and Hadley of Mason City; sister Jessi Brown (Kevin) and children Reed, Ramzee and Remi of Britt; his other half Theresa Moorehouse of Kanawha, and extended family and friends.

Welcoming Bud to Heaven are those who meant so much to him: Grandma Iliah, Grandma Rita, Uncle Edward, Uncle Ronnie & Aunt Vicki.

Bud- We all loved you more than you could ever know! You left us too soon! We love you and we’ll never forget you!
