Kathy Deanna Kennedy was born February 17, 1962 to Joyce (Paterson) and Louis Kennedy in Fort Dodge, IA. Kathy passed alway May 10, 2005 in Ames after a short battle with cancer. She was 43 years old. A Celebration of Kathy's Life will be held Monday, May 16 from 5 to 8 PM. Her cremains will be spread at a later time. Kathy was married to Tim Snider and they had two children, Jessica and Travis. The marriage ended in divorce. December 18, 1992, Kathy married Patrick Dale Deimerly in Webster City, the couple made their home in Clarion. Kathy worked at Unlimited Opportunities for the past six years, until her health would no longer allow her to work. Kathy enjoyed working with her client's as well as being a friend to each of them. Kathy enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed being with people and having fun. In her spare time she enjoyed doing cross stitch, and putting together puzzles, but most of all being with her family. Surviving Kathy are her husband, Pat; daughter, Jessica; son, Travis, step-son, Jeff Deimerly and wife Robin; grandchildren, Breanna and Bryce Deimerly; mother, Joyce Craig; sisters, Karen, Edith and Sarah; and one brother, Louis. Along with her family members from her first marriage, Kathy always made sure that family came together and stayed together. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Louis Kennedy. Kathy loved many, and was loved by all.
