Obituary
Kenneth LeRoy Nelson, 60, passed away Friday, April 3, 1992, at this home in Britt, Iowa.
Kenneth, the son of Nels and Christina (Omvig) Nelson, was born November 20, 1931 at Kanawha, Iowa, where he attended the Kanawha Public Schools.
On March 29, 1980, he was united in marriage with Jane Brager at Britt. The couple had since made their home in Britt. He was employed with the Agriculture Stabilization and Conservation (ASCS) for over 20 years.
Kenneth was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Britt.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Joe, Richard and Marion; two sisters: Elsie and Sadie.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Nelson of Britt, Iowa; one daughter, Cathy Brause and her husband, Howard of Osceola; two sons: Mark Nelson and his wife, Lee Ann of Eagle Grove, Iowa; Andrew Nelson and his wife, Peggy of Algona, Iowa; five grandchildren: Sarah, Eric, Christine, Lucas and Rachael; three sisters: Agnes Carlson of Webster City, Iowa; Edith Evans of Belmond, Iowa; Mrs. Benny (Darlene) Smith of Clear Lake, Iowa; one brother, Leonard Nelson of Baxter, Iowa.
