Kristine L. Goins, 55, of Britt passed away Friday, September 9, 2022 at MercyOne North Iowa Hospice in Mason City. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Kristine Lynne Goins, the daughter of Eugene and Cherie (Braddock) Goins, was born on March 13, 1967 in Elkhart, Indiana.  She grew up in Elkhart before the family moved to Michigan where she graduated from Ross Beatty High School in 1986. After high school, Kristi entered the work force where she held various jobs but learned quickly she loved taking care of people.  She enjoyed her work at nursing homes the most where she could connect with the residents that lived there. Kristi moved to Britt in 2003 where she raised her three children.  She loved her family deeply and spending time with them was her favorite thing to do.  In 2015, Kristi had the great honor of becoming MiMi and instantly fell in love with being a grandma.  She was lucky enough to help take care of them.  She also loved animals and had several pets over the years. She bravely fought cancer for two years while never giving up her easy going fun attitude.  She will be remembered for being a hard worker, very kind, a loud and loving mom and MiMi. She is survived by her children Brandon Goins of Forest City, Kelsey Goins of Britt, and Garrett Fosdick of Ventura; two grandchildren Ryeker and Haisley; her mother Cherie Goins and sister Jennifer Goins of South Bend, Indiana along with extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and Aunt Laura Hosey.
