Lawrence L. Delano, 80, of Clarion, died Sunday, March 27, 2005 at USA Health Care Center in Mason City.
Lawrence L. Delano was born on July 11, 1921, to Russell and Hazel (Boyington) Delano in Hampton, Iowa. He was raised and educated in the Waterloo and Clarion areas and entered the Army on September 28, 1942 at Camp Dodge and was honorably discharged on February 17, 1946.
He is survived by four children: Julie Lynne Aue of California, Steve Delano of Arizona, Randy Delano of Arizona and Terry Turner of Georgia; 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and various other relatives and friends.
Lawrence was cremated and memorial services will be held out of state at a later date.
