Condolences

Words cannot express the loss I feel for my friend. Lea was a very classy lady. Whether she was going to the store or going out for the night, she was always dressed to the “nines”. She sacrificed so much for her family and others around her. I will miss her greatly. My prayers continue for the family.

Le took care of my mom at the IOOF Home and I talked to her many times on the phone. She was very caring to the residents and talked with family to communicate any necessary information whenever she needed to. Le will be so missed by the residents and by their families. She selflessly gave my mom a perm and wanted nothing for it. She wanted my mom to feel good and to enjoy having her hair look nice. I want you to know that I had nothing but positive interactions with your mom and I found her to be a very nice lady. I am so, so sorry for this tragic situation. I am also sorry that you all have to endure this horrible situation and to have this in your family history. My condolences to you. May you find peace and comfort knowing that your mom did much for many who couldn’t do for themselves. She will be so missed.

Leallen was a tremendous nurse who has helped my mother at Good Shepherd and at the IOOF in Mason City! She did special things for my mother. The day she was killed she trimmed my mother’s hair just before going off shift.. My brother and sisters could talk with her easily when we visited mom or on the phone. She was always so caring about what ever our mom was struggling with health wise. I know she did this for other residents because she ran around helping people every minute at her work place! I know she is in paradise with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!! Her suffering on this earth is over! Beth from Nebraska.

RIP Aunt Swootz. I love you so much. Thank you for always being a loving and caring person to me and a listening eat whenever I needed it. you helped me get thru the hardest times in my life when we lost Grandma Cokey, Grandpa Jim and my mom Patty. We were just talking a week ago about you coming to visit and to meet my baby boy Amon. My deepest condolences to all who have heavy hearts and are mourning the loss of such a beautiful woman with such a fun and free spirited heart. you will be deeply missed.

Leallen was such a good nurse. One of the best. She was also a caring person and so easy to talk to. I’m glad I got to see her at IOOF and visit for a bit. Prayers to her children and grandchildren
