Obituary
Leona "Oni" May Yeakel, daughter of George P. and Serene (Pederson) Baldridge, passed away Monday, August 10, 1992 at the Kanawha Community Nursing Home in Kanawha, Iowa at the age of 89 years, 5 months and 18 days.
She received her education in the Kanawha Schools and she was united in marriage to Maynard A. Yeakel in 1992 in Osceola, Iowa. They lived most of their married life in Iowa except for several years in the Twin Cities, Minnesota.
She was a active member of the United Methodist Church. She devoted her life to her church and family.
Leona is survived by her son Jeff and his wife Nancy of Wayzata, Minnesota and daughter Amy Lou and her husband Dean B. Carlson of Minnetonka, Minnesota; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Maynard in 1979, her brother Dudley and sister Naomi.
