Lillian Alice Oddson Dahle, 85, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 5, 1997. Lillian, was born on November 20, 1911, in Storden, MN, to Ed Albert and Louisa Johnson Oddson.  She attended rural schools in Emmet County, Iowa.  She was baptized and confirmed in Wallingford Lutheran church in Wallingford, Iowa.  She married Clarence Dahle on November 19, 1936, in Wallingford, Iowa.  The couple moved to Britt in 1936.  Lillian was a member of the Britt Evangelical Free Church and was involved in various church groups and activities. Lillian enjoyed her family and friends.  She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, needlework, making dolls, and traveling.  She was a 4-H leader for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers, two sisters, and her son, Merwyn. Lillian is survived by her son: Ron Dahle and his wife, Paulette of Woden; her daughter: Deloris Shipman and her husband, Roland of Belvidere, IL; eight grandchildren: Kevin Dahle and his wife, Beth, Kim Jennings and her husband, Matt, Anthony Dahle and his wife, Colleen, Angela Dahle, David Dahle, Brian Dahle and his wife, Patricia, Shawn Dahle, R.A.E. Shipman; five great-grandchildren: Tyler, Courtney Johnson and Sarah Jennings, Branden Dahle, and Matthew Dahle; one sister: Lorraine Smith and her husband, Linus of Jackson, MN; and several nieces and nephews.
