Obituary


Lillian L. Azeltine age 86, of Sumner, Washington formerly of Latimer passed away Wednesday October 26, 2005.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30A.M.Saturday October 29, 2005 at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Latimer with Pastor Duane Rhoadarmer officiating. Burial will be held in Graceland Cemetery in Rowan.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.

Ewing Dugger Helgeson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Lillian L. Azeltine daughter of Emmett and Leona (Huntington) Carr was born in Franklin County on May 27, 1919. She was raised in the Franklin County area and attended school in the area.

On October 15, 1955 Lillian was united in marriage to Wesley Azeltine in Fargo, North Dakota. After their marriage the couple bought a farm where they raised their family and farmed their entire adult lives.

Lillian spent 6 months in Washington state with her grandson David, until her health declined and entered the nursing home there.

She enjoyed helping her husband on the farm and taking care of the animals. Lillian also enjoyed crocheting.

Lillian was a member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ of Latimer, the local band and singing group.

Surviving Lillian are her son, Larry McGinnis of Fort Worth, Texas; two grandsons, David McGinnis and his wife Lorrie of Graham, Washington, Daniel McGinnis of Seattle, Washington; three great grandchildren, Ryan McGinnis, Joey McGinnis, Lauryn McGinnis; and one sister, Iris Nelson of Rowan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley; parents, Emmett and Leona Carr; one sister, Fern; and one brother, Arnie Carr.
