Linda S. Allbee, 75, of Belmond, formerly of Meservey, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at, Meservey Reformed Church, with Pastor Joel DeBoer officiating. Burial will be in the Meservey Cemetery in Meservey.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Friday, October 9, 2026 at Ewing Funeral Home, 111 Luick's Lane South in Belmond and will continue one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Saturday.

Linda was born to Ollie Gaines and Viola (Englet) Gaines. Linda lived her life with a heart wide open. She greeted everyone with a smile that made you feel at home and a hug that made you feel loved. She found joy in the simplest moments and shared that joy generously. Whether with family, friends, or someone she had just met, Linda made people feel cared for.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Earl Allbee, whom she loved deeply, and her brother Lon Gaines.

Linda leaves behind her son Robert Allbee and his wife Kelly Allbee; her granddaughters Kaitlyn and Hailey Allbee; and her great-granddaughter Maelee Allbee, who brought her endless happiness.

She is also survived by her son Benjamin Allbee Jr., his wife Stacy Allbee, and her grandsons Clayton and Blaike Allbee.

Linda is further survived by her sisters-in-law, Kathey Gaines, Caroline Lind, and Nancy Allbee, and many nieces, nephews, friends, and co-workers who loved her dearly.

Linda’s legacy is one of warmth, laughter, and the way she made every gathering feel special. Her love was steady, constant, and unconditional. Her absence leaves a hole that can never be filled, but her spirit will continue to guide and comfort those she loved.
