Lois F. (Aldrich) Beyer, 86, of Belmond, passed away on Sunday, September 26,
2021 at the Rehabilitation Center of Belmond.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Ewing
Funeral Home, 111 Luick's Lane South in Belmond, with Pastor Nancy Hofmeister
officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Friday at the
funeral home. Burial will take place at Graceland Cemetery in Rowan.

Lois Fae (Aldrich) Beyer, the daughter of Raymond and Neva (Hinckley) Aldrich,
was born October 16, 1934 on the family farm outside of Rowan.
Lois attended country school near Rowan and graduated from Rowan High School
with the class of 1952. Lois continued her education at the Evangelical School
of Nursing in Marshalltown obtaining her nursing degree in 1955, beginning her
lifelong passion of helping others.
Lois was united in marriage to Raymond Beyer on January 16, 1956, at Rowan
Methodist Church. They were truly a team, enjoying 64 loving years of marriage,
they are together again.
The couple raised their four children in Rowan where Lois was very involved in
their activities. She was a 4-H leader and the first to sign up to be a
chaperone on any trip.
She was an active member of the United Church of Rowan where she was involved in
the Women's Club and Come Join Us, she also volunteered in various capacities.
Lois showed kindness in her daily life. She volunteered at the hospital and
liked staying busy in her community. She was a member of the Lion's club where
she enjoyed fundraising dinners, KidSight and was a Chapter and District
officer.
She loved traveling and the family enjoyed numerous camping trips together. She
was a big supporter of the Iowa River Players and enjoyed attending their
performances.
Lois is survived by her children Michael (Narela) Beyer of Carrolltown, Texas
and their children Allen, Arthur and Mina; Nancy Beyer of Belmond; Mary (Eric)
Bisinger of Central City, Iowa and their children Steffanie and Zackary; David
(Jane) Beyer of Van Vleck, Texas; brother Don Aldrich; sister-in-law Wilma
Aldrich; brother-in-law Roger "Skip" Beyer along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond in 2020,
sisters-in-laws Kay Aldrich, Nina Beyer and Jean Carman, brother Larry Aldrich
and brother-in-law Everett Carman.
The family asks that rather than sending flowers, donations may be made to The
American Heart Association, the Belmond Rehabilitation Center or your favorite
charity.
