Lois E. Keller, 98, of Clarion, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013 at the
Clarion Wellness and Rehabilitation Center in Clarion.
Funeral services for Lois Keller will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at
10:30 AM at the Church of Christ, 420 North Main Street, in Clarion with Pastor
Warren Curry officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at the Church of Christ in
Clarion on Wednesday.
Lois E. (King) Keller was born on December 29, 1914 South of Clarion to Charles
and Jessie (Dunbar) King. She grew up on the family farm and graduated from
Clarion Public School in May of 1932.
Lois was united in marriage to Lee Keller on February 19, 1935. She helped Lee
on the farm and lived on the same farm for 45 years.
Lee and Lois attended the Missionary Alliance Church in Blairsburg and later
Lois attended and was active in the Church of Christ in Clarion. She was a
member of the Friendly Neighbor Club. Lois enjoyed gardening, needlework,
reading and family.
Lois is survived by one son Dean (Carolyn); one daughter Carol (Don) Fauth; 9
grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lee; her son Charles; one brother
Verle; and one great-grandson Edward.
