Lois Ann Fink, age 75 of Clarion, Iowa, formerly of Rowan passed away Saturday,
July 7, 2007 at the USA Health Care Center in Clarion, Iowa.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at Immanuel
Evangelical Lutheran Church rural Clarion, with Pastor Raymond Salemink
officiating. Interment will take place in Hampton, Iowa at 1:00 p.m.
A visitation will take place from 6-8 PM, Monday, July 9, 2007, at the Ewing
Dugger Helgeson Funeral Home, 602 North Main Street, Clarion, Iowa, 50525, and
will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
Lois Ann (Benton) Fink, daughter of James and Viletta (Ahrens) Benton was born
October 20, 1931 on a farmstead out side of Rowan. She was raised and educated
in Rowan, graduating from Rowan High School. After high school she cared for the
elderly in their homes for a few years.
On February 23, 1958 Lois was united in marriage to Clifford Murray Fink. The
family lived on a farm south of Dows. Terry fink, step-son of Lois, lived with
them for a short time. The couple had two daughters together, Karen born on
September 8, 1958, and Connie born on April 22, 1963. Lois enjoyed taking care
of her family and home.
Surviving Lois are, daughters, Karen Andrews and Connie Manning; stepchildren
Dianna Schoon and Terry Fink; grandchildren, David Schincke, Dale Novak, Eric
Andrews, and Chrystal Andrews; seven great grandchildren; many nieces, nephew,
and great nieces and nephews.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband, sister, brother and a
nephew.
Eagle Grove, Mary Thompson and her husband Hans of Goldfield; and many nieces
and nephews.
