Louis "Marty" Martin Tegtmeyer, Jr., 47, passed away Thursday, July 16, 1992 at Phoenix, Arizona.
Louis, the son of Louis and Dorotha (Norris) Tegtmeyer, Sr., was born March 13, 1945 at Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He received his education in the Britt school, graduating in 1962. He attended electronic school. In 1965, he enlisted in the United States Navy, serving during the Vietnam era and receiving his discharge in 1968. At one time, he was employed with Motorola Co. in Chicago, Illinois. While living in Phoenix, Arizona, he did landscaping work.
"Marty" was preceded in death by two sisters; his maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents.
Survivors include his parents; Louis and Dorotha Tegtmeyer of Wesley, Iowa; three brothers: Michael Tegtmeyer of Los Angeles, California; Richard Tegtmeyer and his wife, Barbara of Woden, Iowa; Randy Tegtmeyer and his wife, Natalie of Blairsburg, Iowa; his maternal grandmother, Gloria Eggert of Britt, Iowa; three nephews and two nieces.
