Obituary
Louise Ida Eenhuis, 76, passed away Saturday, December 28, 1996, at the North Iowa Mercy Health Center - East Campus in Mason City, Iowa.
Louise, the daughter of Karl and Ida (Peil) Kerch, was born on June 10, 1919, in Dows, Iowa. At an early age her family moved to a farm near Kanawha where she then attended country school. On May 2, 1940, she was united in marriage with Carl Eenhuis at the Britt Lutheran Church. The couple farmed until 1953, when they moved into Kanawha. Louise was employed for a short time at grocery stores in Kanawha. She was a member of the Kanawha Lutheran Church.
Louise is survived by her son, Robert of Kanawha; three grandchildren, Brenda Schwartztrauber and her husband, Frank of Des Moines and their children, Elissa, Jesse, Rachel and Layla; Terry Eenhuis and his wife, Melissa of West Des Moines; Kristy Eenhuis of Des Moines; one brother, Richard Kerch and his wife, Judy of Eagle Grove; two sisters-in-law, Annie Knoll and her husband, Dewayne of Kanawha, and Mary Kerch of Clarion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl, her son, Wayne and two brothers, Harold and Bill.
