Lowell Anderson, 87, of Clarion passed away Saturday December 18, 2021 at the Iowa Specialty Hospital in Clarion. A memorial visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at Ewing Funeral Home, 1801 Central Avenue East in Clarion. Lowell Gene, Son of Albert and Bernice (Frazier) Anderson, was born on October 13, 1934 in Clarion. Lowell grew up on a farm in rural Clarion, and he graduated for Clarion High School in 1952. On October 25, 1956 Lowell was united in marriage to Connie and was blessed with three sons. Lowell farmed in rural Belmond until he moved to Clarion in 1971 where he worked for Wright County until he retired in 2000. Lowell enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing. If he wasn't enjoying the outdoors or watching a western movie, he was spending time with family and friends. Lowell loved supporting his grandchildren and their many activities. Lowell is survived by his three sons, Mike of Clarion, Marty (Jodi) of Swisher, and Murray (Cindy) of Forest City; his six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law Kay Wilimek of Des Moines. He is preceded in death by his wife Connie; his parents; brothers Lyle and Les Anderson; and brother-in-laws Jim Wilimek and Charlie Bell.
