Margarita M. Hernandez, 80, of Britt passed away Friday, July 23, 2021 at the Marian Home and Village in Fort Dodge. Memorial graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Evergreen Cemetery in Britt. Memorials may be directed to Margarita's family c/o Ewing Funeral Home, P.O. Box 342 in Britt, Iowa 50423. Margarita, daughter of Manuel Hernandez and Oralia Munoz Hernandez, was born on January 23, 1941 in Kingsville, Texas. Margarita made her home in Britt for the past 29 years. Margarita was a loving daughter, aunt and sister. She took care of and babysat all of her nieces and nephews and enjoyed spending time with her niece, Samantha and nephew, Jonathan. She is survived by two sons: Oscar Erik (Antonia) Hernandez and Andy (Dolores) Hernandez; her siblings: Manuela Esquivel, Dora Quintanilla, Robert Hernandez, and Joe Hernandez; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Ruben Hernandez, Pedro Hernandez, Raul Hernandez, Lionel Hernandez, and Juan Hernandez; and sister, Herminia Hernandez.
