Marian Rosetta Boyington Fuller was born May 2, 1923, in Mason City, Iowa, to
Wayne Zelman and Eva Luella Davis Boyington. She was preceded in death by her
husband, Lloyd Fuller (1919-2008).
Marian attended school in Bradford, Iowa; high school in Iowa Falls, Iowa,
graduating in 1940, and received her teaching degree from Ellsworth Junior
College and taught rural and elementary schools, until she married Lloyd Fuller
of Bradford, Iowa, on June 13, 1944. When Lloyd got back from serving in the US
Navy, they farmed near Alden, Iowa, until 1950 when they moved to a farm east of
Belmond, Iowa. In 1967, they moved to a farm north of Belmond. Marian worked
right along with Lloyd in the fields, milking cows, and gardening for almost 40
years until they retired and moved into Belmond in 1984. She delivered
Winnebagos with Lloyd and worked part time at Printing Services, Inc.
Marian enjoyed the time she and Lloyd danced – both square dancing and ballroom
dancing; played bridge; fished and camped with family and friends.
Marian enjoyed time with her family and treated everyone with their favorite
foods including rolls, cookies, and sour cream raisin pie. Favorite pastimes for
Marian were sewing, cross-stitching and making crafts.
