Obituary


Marilyn K. (Dasch) Lint, 79, of Clarion passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 1, 2016 surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

A Celebration of Life Service for Marilyn Lint will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Renwick United Methodist Church, 610 Kelling Street in Renwick, with Pastor Bill Kem officiating. Burial will take place at Vernon Township Cemetery in Renwick.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM prior to the service on Saturday at the church.

Marilyn was born on June 9, 1936 to Howard and Vera Dasch in Renwick. She graduated from Kanawha High School in 1954.

Marilyn was a great wife and mother to her children. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, strong work ethic, and kind heart. She always went out of her way to lend a helping hand to someone in need.

Marilyn is survived by her husband John; children Rodney Deibler, Krista (Gary) Day, Joni (Todd) Mostad, Londa Fabio (fiancé Dave Hepburn), John Crock, Matthew Crock, and John’s son David (Christy) Russell; grandchildren Josie (Damon) Dohmen, Jamie (Kevin) Harrison, Nate (Amy) Day, Derek Deibler, Connor Fabio, Emily Crock, Joseph Crock, Sam Mostad, Katy Crock, Sarah (Beto) Nava and Tim Russell; great-grandchildren Haylee Harrison and Westin Harrison; along with numerous friends and extended family members.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Vera Dasch.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Verle and Pam Tate, Elaine and Dennis McCurry and Holly Martin for all they’ve done.

The family would also like to thank Dr. Nagel, Nurse Jason and staff at Iowa Specialty Hospital in Clarion, and Drs. Snyder and Marks and staff at Mercy Cancer Center in Mason City.
