Marilyn P. Chapman

Marilyn Priscilla Chapman, age 71, of Clarion, Iowa, passed away Monday, August  6, 2007 at the USA Health Care Center in Clarion, IA.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at the Ewing Dugger Helgeson Funeral Home in Clarion, with Pastor Don Morrison officiating, with burial in the Amsterdam Cemetery in Goodell, IA.

A visitation will take place from 5-7 PM, Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at the Ewing Dugger Helgeson Funeral Home, 602 North Main Street, Clarion, Iowa, 50525, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.

Marilyn Priscilla Chapman daughter of Charles and Lillian (Morphew) Chapman was born on February 18, 1936. She was raised and educated in Kanawha, graduating from Kanawha High School.

She stayed on the farm and helped her parent’s, she was a very outdoorsy person.

Marilyn enjoyed doll collecting, baking cookies and other things. She was a member of the Clarion Church of Christ.

Marilyn is survived by her sisters, Lillian Van Buskirk and her husband Owen of Osage, IA, Sylvia Douglas of Clarion, IA, Hope Mortimer and her husband Donnie of Allen, TX; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lillian; and one brother, John Chapman.
