Mark Allen Kyhl, the son of Dennis and Scherry (Davis) Kyhl, was born October 1, 1954 in Britt, Iowa.  He attended school in Britt and graduated with the class on 1972.  After high school, Mark worked various places before he continued his education at NIACC Community College in 1982 with a degree in welding.  He then worked at IMT for 30 years.

Mark married Barbara Milner on March 5, 1977 in Kanawha, Iowa.  The family made their home in Britt. Mark loved and supported his family very much.

He loved listening to music and had a passion for the open road.  He enjoyed old cars and most of all riding motorcycles and being with friends.  No matter what happened Mark always had a plan in place to ride his bike.  Despite his biker appearance and lifestyle, Mark was a soft hearted and caring person.  He was always the first person to offer help of any kind.

Mark is survived by his wife of 44 years, Barb Kyhl of Britt; children Shawn Kyhl of Huxley, Iowa, Amber (Arthur) Deaner of Britt and Damien Kyhl of Mason City; grandchildren Austin (Nicole), Angel, Aaron (Kenzie), Mackenzie (Izayah), Gage (Brenna), Asia and Arthur; great grandchildren Ava, Emberlee, Wyatt, Ryker, Octavia, Remington, Sawyer, Gavynn and Emmett; sisters Diana (Dick) Fredrick of Canon City, Colorado and Debbie (Mike) Younger of Britt; mother-in-law Ruby Milner; sister-in-law Kathleen (Randy) Yakel; brothers-in-law Tim (Roberta) Milber, Calvin (Debbie) Milner and Kenneth Milner along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Dennis and Scherry; grandparents Emil and Evelyn Kyhl and Albert and Edna Davis; and sister-in-law Florence Cose.
