Obituary
Mark Donald Nedved, 56, of Crystal Lake, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013, at Concord Care Center in Garner, after a lengthy battle with MS.
A gathering of family and friends will be on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Duncan Community Hall in Duncan.
In keeping with Mark’s wishes, his body has been cremated.
Mark was born March 25, 1957, to Donald and Donna (Tschirki) Nedved in Forest City, Iowa. He attended school in Britt and graduated in 1957. After high school, Mark worked at Winnebago and then worked over 20 years at the county shed maintaining Hancock County road equipment.
Mark is survived by his two sons: Jeremy (Mindy) of Crystal Lake and children Chloe and Joel; Joshua (fiancée Annie Litzel) of Clear Lake and children Christina and Dylan; mother, Donna Nedved of Clear Lake; sisters: Julie (Robert) Steiff of Middle Amana, Iowa and Nancy (Dave) Jakoubek of Garner, Iowa.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Donald Nedved; and grandparents Aldrich and Lillian Nedved and Christian and A. Mildred Tschirki.
