Mark Kyhl, 67, of Britt, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021 at MercyOne North
Iowa Medical Center in Mason City.
Funeral Service for Mark Kyhl will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at
10:30 AM at Ewing Funeral Chapel, 178 Center Street West in Britt with Jerry
Myers officiating.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 5:00 –7:00 PM and one
hour prior to services on Saturday at Ewing Funeral Chapel.
Mark Allen Kyhl, the son of Dennis and Scherry (Davis) Kyhl, was born October 1,
1954 in Britt, Iowa. He attended school in Britt and graduated with the class
on 1972. After high school, Mark worked various places before he continued his
education at NIACC Community College in 1982 with a degree in welding. He then
worked at IMT for 30 years.
Mark married Barbara Milner on March 5, 1977 in Kanawha, Iowa. The family made
their home in Britt. Mark loved and supported his family very much.
He loved listening to music and had a passion for the open road. He enjoyed old
cars and most of all riding motorcycles and being with friends. No matter what
happened Mark always had a plan in place to ride his bike. Despite his biker
appearance and lifestyle, Mark was a soft hearted and caring person. He was
always the first person to offer help of any kind.
Mark is survived by his wife of 44 years, Barb Kyhl of Britt; children Shawn
Kyhl of Huxley, Iowa, Amber (Arthur) Deaner of Britt and Damien Kyhl of Mason
City; grandchildren Austin (Nicole), Angel, Aaron (Kenzie), Mackenzie (Izayah),
Gage (Brenna), Asia and Arthur; great grandchildren Ava, Emberlee, Wyatt, Ryker,
Octavia, Remington, Sawyer, Gavynn and Emmett; sisters Diana (Dick) Fredrick of
Canon City, Colorado and Debbie (Mike) Younger of Britt; mother-in-law Ruby
Milner; sister-in-law Kathleen (Randy) Yakel; brothers-in-law Tim (Roberta)
Milber, Calvin (Debbie) Milner and Kenneth Milner along with many aunts, uncles,
cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Dennis and Scherry; grandparents Emil and
Evelyn Kyhl and Albert and Edna Davis; and sister-in-law Florence Cose.
