Mary Jane Vestweber, 83, of Little Rock, AR passed away Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Hickory Heights Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mary Jane, the daughter of Jack and Ethel (McDonald) Ketchum, was born August 7, 1940 at Souix City, Iowa. Mary Jane was raised in the Belmond area and graduated from Belmond High School in 1959.
During a high school basketball game, Mary Jane met her high school sweetheart Garold Vestweber. The couple married on February 1, 1959 at the Belmond United Methodist Church. To this union three children were born.
Mary Jane retired in Belmond and spent her free time antiquing and traveling the state of Iowa.
Mary Jane was preceeded in death by her parents of Belmond and husband of 60 years Garold Vestweber of Alexander.
She is survived by her children Dennis of Portland, Maine, Susan Delzell of Morning Sun, Iowa and her children Danielle, Joey and Travis, and Charlie (Kelly) Vestweber of Little Rock, AR and their son Brandon; six great-grandchildren; her brother Ronald along with extended relatives and friends.
