Mary Louise "Mary Lou" Holley, 94, of Clarion, Iowa, formerly of Marshalltown, IA passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 28, 2025. Memorial services for Mary Holley will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Ewing Funeral Home, 1801 Central Avenue East in Clarion, Iowa. Private family burial will take place at a later date. Visitation for Mary Holley will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Ewing Funeral Home. Mary Lou retired from Commercial State Bank in Marshalltown. In the mid-1980s, she and Dick settled into their retirement home on Lake Cornelia in Clarion, where they enjoyed their golden years together until their passing. She was the beloved wife of 60 years to the late Richard "Dick" Holley, and a devoted mother to Joseph (Rhonda) Holley, the late Kathryn (Holley) Moore, and the late James (Norma) Holley. Mary Lou was a proud and loving grandmother of nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. She was also a dear sister to the late Joseph Kunkel and sister-in-law Margaret (Ed) Novasol.
