Mary Virginia Haxton, 59, passed away Saturday, December 24, 1994 at North Iowa Mercy Health Center in Mason City, Iowa.
Mary, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Appelhons) Haxton, was born on February 10, 1935 in Britt, Iowa. She received her education in the Britt school system. Mary lived in Athens, Alabama, and in 1970 she moved to Mason City.
She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Marie Haxton of Britt, Iowa; two sons, Mark and his wife, Loralyn McMeans of Phoenix, Arizona and James McMeans of Huntsville, Alabama; one daughter, Jacie Savino of Mason City, Iowa; a sister, Kathy Barlas and her husband, Tom of Mason City, Iowa; a brother, John Lichman and his wife, Wavel of Britt, Iowa; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Merle Haxton in May of 1980.
