Maximino Murillo Salas, 77 de Clarion falleció el viernes 22 de julio de 2022 en MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center.

Se llevará a cabo una misa de entierro cristiano para Maximino a las 10:30 a. m. el lunes 25 de julio de 2022 en la iglesia católica St. John, 608 2nd Avenue North East en Clarion, oficiando el padre Jerry Blake.

El velorio se llevará a cabo una hora antes de la misa fúnebre en la iglesia el lunes.

Maximino nació el 20 de diciembre de 1944 en Colima, México de Ascencion Murillo y Francisca Salas Huerta. Se crió allí junto a sus numerosos hermanos.

Maximino se unió en matrimonio a su esposa Antonia, y de esta unión nacieron once hijos. Antonia falleció en 1996.

Maximino luego se mudó a California por un tiempo, para estar cerca de la familia, y se mudó a Clarion en 2002, donde trabajó para Iowa Select Farms y más tarde, en una granja avícola.

En su juventud en México, a Maximino le encantaba jugar fútbol. Más recientemente, disfrutó del trabajo en el jardín y la jardinería, y de arreglar y trabajar en cualquier cosa mecánica.

A Maximino le sobreviven sus once hijos: Rosario, Francisca, Manuel, Pedro, Amalia, Carlos, Leticia, Gustavo, Karina, Adriana y Nancy; numerosos nietos y muchos hermanos; junto con otros familiares y amigos.

Maximino fue precedido en muerte por sus padres y su esposa, Antonia.

Maximino Murillo Salas, 77 of Clarion passed away Friday, July 22, 2022 at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Maximino will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, July 25, 2022 at St. John Catholic Church, 608 2nd Avenue North East in Clarion with Father Jerry Blake officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral Mass at the church on Monday.

Maximino was born December 20, 1944 in Colima, Mexico to Ascencion Murillo and Francisca Salas Huerta. He was raised there alongside his numerous siblings.

Maximino was united in marriage to his wife Antonia, and to this union, eleven children were born. Antonia passed away in 1996.

Maximino later moved to California for a time, to be near family, and moved to Clarion in 2002, where he worked for Iowa Select Farms and later, at a poultry farm.

In his younger days in Mexico, Maximino loved playing soccer. More recently, he enjoyed yard work and gardening, and fixing and working on anything mechanical.

Maximino is survived by his eleven children: Rosario, Francisca, Manuel, Pedro, Amalia, Carlos, Leticia, Gustavo, Karina, Adriana and Nancy; numerous grandchildren and many siblings; along with other family members and friends.

Maximino was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Antonia.
