Megan Keller, 41, of Blairsburg, passed away Monday, August 31, 2020 at Iowa
Specialty Hospital in Clarion.
Funeral services for Megan Keller will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at
10:30 AM at Missionary Alliance Church, 501 3rd Street in Blairsburg, with
Pastor Richard Birr officiating. Burial will take place at the Blairsburg
Cemetery.
Visitation for Megan Keller will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020 from 5:00
– 7:00 PM at Ewing Funeral Home, 1801 Central Avenue East in Clarion, and one
hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
Those in attendance will be asked to follow social distancing guidelines.
Megan Ann, daughter of Gene and Margo (Williamson) Keller, was born on January
21, 1979 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She grew up in the Clarion area and attended
school in Clarion. She graduated from Dows High School and was active in
cheerleading and other various sports. During the summers of her 6th grade
through senior year, Megan attended Honey Rock Camp in Wisconsin at which she
served as a discipleship counselor her senior year. After high school, Megan
attended Taylor University, graduating from Washington University in St. Louis
in anthropology. Afterwards, Megan received a degree in accounting from UCLA.
Megan also studied eastern medicine in the form of acupuncture and herbal use.
Megan held various occupations including and enjoying working for an auditing
company and as a personal trainer.
On August 25, 2008, Megan's son, Evan Joseph Edward, was born. Evan is the joy
of her life and also her overriding motivating factor. They spent most of their
time living in California. Together they enjoyed spending time at the mountains,
ocean and beach. Megan loved taking Evan to NASA in Houston and Lego Land, and
more recently taking him to Honey Rock Camp in Wisconsin this summer.
Megan loved to study and learn new things. She enjoyed swimming, reading, and
quilting. Megan was a member of PEO.
Megan is survived by her son Evan Felske; parents Gene and Margo Keller of
Blairsburg; brother Grant (Kelly) Keller; nieces and nephews: Lane, Lucas,
Morgan and Mallory; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by grandparents Joseph and Catherine Keller and
Lawrence and Marie Williamson; and cousin Brandon Huisman.
