Obituary
Merwyn "Mert" Lee Dahle, 57, passed away Saturday, May 18, 1996, at the North Iowa Mercy Health Center - East Campus, in Mason City, Iowa.
Mert, the son of Clarence and Lillian (Oddson) Dahle, was born on December 5, 1938, in Britt, Iowa. He attended school in Britt and graduated from Britt High School in 1957. He then went to work at Sieg Auto in Forest City, Iowa. In 1957 he was united in marriage with Judy Hiscocks. The couple made their home in Forest City. He then worked at various NAPA Auto Parts stores in North Central Iowa. In 1978, he moved to Clear Lake where he was since been a resident. Mert was a member of the Clear Lake Fishing Club for many years.
Mert is survived by his children, Kevin and his wife, Beth Dahle of Northfield, MN, Kim and her husband, Matthew Jennings and their children, Tyler, Courtney and Sarah of Hanlontown, IA, and Tony and his wife, Colleen Dahle and their son Branden of Mason City, IA; his mother, Lillian Dahle of Woden, IA; a sister, Deloris Shipman and her husband, Roland of Belvidere, IL; a brother, Ronald and his wife, Paulette Dahle, of Woden, IA.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence in 1977.
