Mike was born July 13, 1957 in Britt, Iowa to CD (June) Noble and Maxine Noble. Mike grew up on the family farm south of Britt. Mike started farming at the age of 15 after his father died. He farmed for 42 years. He attended Britt schools and graduated in 1975. Mike married Vicki Buren July 17, 1976. To their union, Lucas, Jessica, and Valerie were born.

Mike loved farming and spending time with his family and friends. In a crisis, he could always think of the right thing to say when no one else could think of anything. Catering various events was a fun activity he enjoyed. He was an avid deer and coyote hunter and fisherman. He always cherished his time with the "guys" at their cabin at Eagle Lake. He loved cheering for the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Green Bay Packers. Mike was active in The Boy Scouts of America and the Jaycees. As a scout leader, he helped his son Luke as he earned his Eagle Scout award. He also helped with making potatoes at St. Patrick church dinners.

Mike was adamant that his kids were able to see the country. He and Vicki loaded up the Suburban and headed out on a family vacation every summer. They traveled around the United States to places like Newport News, Virginia Beach, Washington DC on July 4, New York City, Niagara Falls, Gettysburg, Hershey, Pennsylvania, Glacier National Park, Estes Park, Yellowstone, Itasca State Park, and The Chesapeake Bay Bridge.

He is survived by his wife Vicki; his mother Maxine; his children: Lucas and Heather Noble and their children Chloie and Claire, Jess and Matt Ferring, Val and Dan Umthun; brother Charlie (Barb) Noble; sisters Patty (Nels) Dall-Winther, Kathy (Myron) Stenzel, Jean (Denny) Abbas, Pam (Zeke) Zedrick; brother-in-law Steve Harbaugh; mother-in-law Sheryl Buren; sisters-in-law Monica (Dan) Abbas, Melanie Buren; his many nieces and nephews, and his cat Taco.

He was greeted in heaven by his father CD (June) Noble, sisters Connie Harbaugh and Cindy Noble, father-in-law Burell Buren, brother-in-law Al Hanson & great-niece Lauren Dall-Winther, and his pets Blue, Sally, and Patches.

Mike made sure that his kids had the best childhood. He made sure his kids had things he never had.  He was the definition of a devoted father and would do anything he could to help. A hole in our hearts will remain for the rest of our lives and we will never forget the life lessons he taught us! You prepared us for the real world Dad! Because of you we will face the future with certainty and know that because of YOU we will be OKAY.
