Obituary


Michael Paul Riley, age 42, of Clarion, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2005, at Wright Medical Center in Clarion.

Services will be held 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at First Lutheran Church in Clarion, with Pastor Gary Boen Officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 P.M. Tuesday November 1, 2005 at the Ewing Dugger Helgeson Funeral Home at 602 North Main Street Clarion.

Michael Paul Riley was born on September 16, 1963 to parents Maurice and Gladys Nelson Riley in Clarion, Iowa. He was raised and educated in Clarion graduating from Clarion High School in 1982. After graduation he attended community college for a short time.

He worked for All Star Pro Golf as a silk screener. He then worked at the Clarion Care Center and then at Electrolux in Webster City for eleven years where he really enjoyed his job.

Michaels hobbies included fishing, bowling, and playing pool. He also enjoyed singing in the church choir and along with the radio when traveling. He was a member of First Lutheran Church and was active as an usher and member of the choir.

Michael is survived by his parents Maurice and Gladys Nelson Riley, his brother Doug Riley and his wife Cindy, one nephew Tom Riley, one niece Whitney Riley, many Aunts Uncles and Cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Paul and Lavina Riley and Oscar and Irene Nelson.
