Mildred P. Meyer

Mildred Pauline Meyer, 76, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 1991 at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital in Britt, Iowa.

Mildred, the daughter of Henry F. and Hattie (Sinning) Meyer, was born October 21, 1914 near Lennox, South Dakota.  In 1923 she moved with her parents to the Wesley area.  She attended the rural schools near Woden.  She was employed with the Britt School in the hot lunch program.  Mildred was also employed at the Westview Care Center for 25 years until her retirement two years ago.

She was a member of the Kanawha Christian Reformed Church in Kanawha.  Her hobbies were embroidering and gardening.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents and one sister-in-law, Jennie Meyer.

Survivors include one sister, Lucille Meyer of Britt, Iowa; two brothers, Fred Meyer of Kanahwa, Iowa and Marvin Meyer and his wife, Cathern of Corwith, Iowa; one nephew, Randy Meyer and his wife, Carolynn and children: Kira, Ryan, Jason and Kaitlyn Elise of Littleon, Colorado.
