Muriel G. (Bird) Brunsen
Muriel Gladys Brunsen, 77, of Bentonville, Arkansas, formerly of the Britt area, died Monday July 24, 2000 at her home.
She was born November 3, 1922, the daughter of Harry and Ellen (Phillips) Bird, in Woden, Iowa. She worked for ten years with the Milk Plant, eleven years with the Winnebago Industries, and five years with Wal-Mart Stores in Bentonville, Arkansas in 1979, where they have since resided.
She was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, in Rogers, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers: Leonard, Clifford, Kenneth, and Fay and one sister Romona Lundgren.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert Brunsen, of the home, who she was married to on December 25, 1940, four sons: Larry Brunsen and special friend, Suz Dandy of Remson, Iowa, James and Sandra Brunsen of Britt, Dale and Ruth Brunsen of Algona, and Richard and Darla Brunsen of Algona; two daughters Donna Banta and special friend Warren Ward of Garner and Sandra Brunsen of Bentonville, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Florence Bird of Britt and Velma Bird of Britt, and numerous nieces and nephews.
