Nicole Diane Baas, 27, of Clarion passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services for Nicole will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 5, 2012, at First Lutheran Church, 420 1st Street North West in Clarion, with Pastor Ron Nelson officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM at Riverview Cemetery in Algona. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2012, from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at Ewing Funeral Home, 602 North Main Street, in Clarion and will continue one hour prior to services at the church. Nicole was born October 27, 1985, in Algona, to Ronald and Charlene Baas. She attended Clarion-Goldfield Schools and graduated with the Class of 2004. She then went on to attend Iowa Central Community College and earned a degree in Business Management. She was currently working for Mosaic in Clarion and enjoyed her job greatly and the many clients she served. Nicole is survived by her parents, Ronald and Charlene Baas of Clarion; siblings, Joshua (Jami) Baas of Rapid City, South Dakota, Jessica Baas of Clarion and Noah Baas of Clarion; a nephew, Jackson Baas and a niece/nephew due April 2013; grandma, Rose Baas of Algona; special friend, Willian Antunez Rivera and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Melvin Baas and grandparents, Charles and Minvera Curtis.
