Noreen M. Madson, 41, passed away Friday, August 6, 1999, at Westview Care Center, in Britt. Noreen, the daughter of Holger and Carol (Menke) Madson, was born in Killeen, Texas on November 8, 1957. Noreen moved with her family to Britt in 1959.  She was baptized and confirmed in the Roman Catholic faith.  Noreen has resided at Westview Care Center for the past 18 years, where the staff became her extended family. She is survived by her mother Carol Madson, eight brothers and sisters: Chris of Britt, Iowa, John and wife, Amy of Britt, Iowa, Moni and husband, Mike Muth of Britt, Iowa. Cari and husband, Keith Formanek of Britt, Iowa, Jean and husband, Steve Miller of Des Moines, Iowa, Connie and husband, Joe Keitel of Muscatine, Iowa, Cathy and husband, John Weiland of Britt, Iowa, Cindy and husband, John Mark Wehrle of Wapello, Iowa; maternal grandparents, Alfred and Amorita Menke of Bancroft, Iowa; 15 nieces and nephews. Noreen was preceded in death by her father, Holger Madson on August 18, 1993 and her paternal grandparents.
