Pamela Smith, 75, of Clarion passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022 at her home in Clarion. Memorial visitation for Pam Smith will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, April 25, 2022 at Ewing Funeral Home, 1801 Central Avenue East in Clarion. Private family services will be held. Pamela Ann, daughter of LeRoy and Lola (Flurer) Fisher, was born on April 5, 1947 at the hospital in Clarion. She grew up in Clarion and Webster City. Pam graduated from Webster City High School in 1965. After high school, Pam attended nursing school at Saint Lukes. She moved back to Clarion where she was a nurse at the hospital. On August 16, 1975, Pam was united in marriage to Richard Smith in Clarion. They made their home on the farm outside of Clarion before moving to their home in town in 1978. Pam did babysitting at home for a while before she worked at Dollar General. She later worked at Kids Korner for over 20 years. Pam and Rick enjoyed yearly family vacations and site-seeing on the backroads. They were always going somewhere! Pam loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and baking. Pam is survived by her children Heather (Jeff) Wolf of St. Joseph, Iowa and Peter (Heather) Smith of Clarion; nine grandchildren and five step-grandchildren; nieces Kathy Larson (Wendy Mickle), Kim (Mike) McCart, and Karla Gronwall (Dennis); and many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Rick in 2019; daughter Allison Smith; parents LeRoy and Lola Fisher; sister Marilyn Gronwall; and brother Rich Fisher.
