Pamela J. Tew, 72, of Clarion, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023 at Clarion Wellness and Rehabilitation Center. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Ewing Funeral Home, 1801 Central Avenue East in Clarion. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday, August 28, 2023 at the funeral home. Pamela Jean, daughter of Dale and Anna (Graham) Van Hoozer, was born on May 17, 1951 in Bethany, Missouri. Pam grew up and attended Hill Top School in Webster City until she was 13 when her family moved to Kansas, where she finished school there. Pam was united in marriage to Paul Tew in 1990 at St. John's Catholic Church in Clarion. They made their home in Clarion. Pam and Paul enjoyed traveling to Missouri to visit family. Pam liked to work on woodworking projects, reading, listening to music, and playing on the computer. She loved visiting with people and talking on the phone, especially to her sister Carolyn. Pam is survived by her husband Paul of Clarion; sister Carolyn McCoy of Webster City; and her beloved pets. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Janice Nielson.
