Patricia Riehm of Britt passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 at her home. Visitation for Pat Riehm will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Ewing Funeral Chapel, 178 Center Street West in Britt.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.  Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Britt. Patricia Ann Riehm was born in Britt, Iowa, to parents, Paul and Alice Riehm on April 2, 1936.  She graduated from Britt High School.  She went on to graduate from Drake University. Most of her teaching career was spent in the Edina Public School, a Minneapolis suburb.  Her passion was teaching reading.  She took great joy in seeing her students develop their reading skills and learning to love literature. Pat is survived by her siblings: Bob Riehm of Medford, Oregon; Marvel Bartley of Villa Park, California, and Charlene (Frank) Trotman of Edelstein, Illinois; nieces Laura Gray of West Lafayette, Indiana, Lesley Reardon of Fishers, Indiana, Lisa Bartley of Pasadena, California; nephew Matthew Bartley of Hawthorne, California along with great nieces and nephews, extended family, and her many beloved friends. Care and concern for others was Pat's hallmark in life.  She will surely be missed by many.
