Paul S. Leuwerke

Paul Steven Leuwerke, 49 of Britt, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015 at his home in Britt.

A Memorial Service for Paul Leuwerke will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at Ewing Funeral Chapel, 178 Center Street West in Britt with Pastor Doug Domokos officiating.  Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Britt. 

The family will greet friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Wednesday.

Paul Steven Leuwerke was born July 19, 1965 to Curtis and Mary Lee (Johnson) Leuwerke in Britt.  He grew up in the Britt area and graduated from Ventura High School.

Following graduation, Paul continued to help his dad on the farm and worked a few various jobs around the area.

Paul enjoyed watching movies, listening to country music, drawing and building model cars.  He was a history buff and was a cat lover.  He was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan.

Paul is survived by his children Matthew (Leah) Leuwerke and their daughter Skylar, Andrew Leuwerke and his sons Drew and Peter, Kristin Leuwerke, and Tory (Renee) Ring; his sister Kathlene (Brian) Price of Forest City; special aunt Charlene Beenken of Mason City, and numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Danny and Greg Leuwerke.
