Phyllis G. (Wiegand) Stockwell, 76, of Clarion, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022, at her home in Clarion. Private family services will be held. Phyllis Grace Stockwell was born on March 20, 1946 in Algona, Iowa to Grace and Maynard Wiegand. After high school, she began working in the ASCS office. She would eventually work in both the Algona and Clarion offices before retiring in 2008. Phyllis married Dick Stockwell on August 20, 1967. To this union they had three children, Jennifer, Alan, and Brenda. They made their home in Clarion since 1976. In her spare time, Phyllis loved to work on her flower garden, working in the yard and had recently got a dog named Rudy that she absolutely loved. Dick and Phyllis loved going to their kids' homes on the weekends as well as have them all come to their home in Clarion. Spending time with their children and grandchildren was their favorite thing. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and her husband in 2019. She is survived by one brother Dennis Wiegand; three children Jenny (Jeff) Brower, Al (Linnea) Stockwell, and Brenda (Boone) Boten; and seven grandchildren Jack and Jaden Brower, Emme, Ethan, and Olin Stockwell, Zach and Cade Boten.
